As an Admin, here is the complete journey:

Create Your Account

Sign up with your email, mobile number (OTP verified) and password. If you already have an account, just log in.

Go to: Sign Up / Login page

Create an Auction with Teams

Click 'Create Auction' and fill in the basics: name, description, and tournament link. Then define your team names - these are the teams that owners will be assigned to.

Configure Auction Settings

Set the total purse per team, base price for players, bid increment, timer duration, and players per team.

Approve Team Owners & Players

Team owners select their team during registration. Players register themselves with their profile. Review registrations and approve who will be owners and who will be players.

Initialize the Player Queue

Start the auction room. The system builds a shuffled queue of all approved players.

Run the Live Auction

Start the auction with 'Start Auction'. Each player gets a timer. Team owners bid in real-time (web + voice). Mark each player Sold or Unsold.

Handle the Unsold Round (Optional)

After the first pass, restart bidding for unsold players so every player gets a chance.

Export Results & Finish

Download the final squad list as CSV/Excel grouped by teams and close the auction. Results are saved for everyone to see.

  • Players can scan QR codes to instantly join auctions — no manual URL typing needed.
  • Download the CricBids Android app for a native mobile auction experience.
  • Keep your player profile up to date - it's shown to team owners during bidding.
  • Enable notifications so you never miss auction approvals or start alerts.
  • Use the voice chat in the live room for smoother communication during fast bidding.
  • Admins can export results anytime; team owners can view the final squad on the live page.
  • Use the global search bar to find auctions, players, and teams instantly.
